根据六盘水市纪委通报，从2012年9月以来，未经批准，伍军长期驾驶公车接送女儿上学、补课以及和家人购物等。2013年10月3日，伍军驾驶公车到兴义为其侄女结婚祝贺，10月6日返回六盘水。2013年11月12日上午7时许，伍军驾驶公车送女儿上学，被六盘水市纪委明察暗访组当场查获。经研究决定，对伍军立案检查。
六盘水市纪委近期还查处了11起违反作风规定的典型案例。包括：六枝特区国土系统金某、仲某某、安某某等5名工作人员上班时间打麻将；盘县水利局水政大队工作人员刘某某上班时间网上炒股；盘县公路养护南段驾驶员陶某某未经单位领导同意，擅自将公车开出办私事等。根据有关规定，上述人员分别被给予全市通报批评，取消2013年评先选优资格和年度目标考核奖金处理。
据悉，六盘水市各级纪检监察机关严格执纪、严肃问责、坚决查处，充分发挥案件查处的警示、教育作用。
