联合国教科文组织4日将中国珠算列入教科文组织人类非物质文化遗产名录，一同获得提名通过的还有蒙古书法、日本和食、地中海饮食文化等14项人类非物质文化遗产。
据中山大学中国非物质文化遗产研究中心5日发布的《中国非物质文化遗产保护发展报告(2013)》，截至2012年底，中国共有29个项目列入人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录，7项列入急需保护的非物质文化遗产名录，1项入选非物质文化遗产优秀实践名册，总数为37个。
5日在北京发布的该报告指出，2012年是中国非物质文化遗产法实施的第一年，相关专项法规、实施细则、地方保护条例相继出台，中国非物质文化遗产保护进入依法科学保护的新阶段。
报告显示，截至2012年，中国共有1986名国家级非物质文化遗产项目代表性传承人，分布于民间文学、传统音乐、传统舞蹈、传统戏剧、曲艺、传统体育、传统美术、传统技艺、传统医药及民俗。与此同时，设立了12个国家级文化生态保护实验区，对具有重要价值和鲜明特色的文化形态进行整体性保护。
报告同时指出，中国非物质文化遗产保护仍有许多问题有待解决，包括知识产权保护较为薄弱，未形成有效的教育传承体系，面临传承人老龄化和项目断层，以及公众对文化遗产保护参与不足等问题。(完)
