拆迁：房主曾留下遗书
苏州市通安镇严山村位于苏州西郊。范木根的房子原属严山村7组，是一栋普通的农村两层住宅，前面是自家菜地，后院是羊圈，养了十几头山羊。范木根和妻子顾盘珍以种菜、养羊、务农为生。

范木根今年64岁，身高1米72，平头。他曾在内蒙古当兵，后退伍回家务农。因为自家房子拆迁的事，从2004年起，他就开始上访，今年还进京上访两次。

此时，站在人群外围的邓权珍看到，一名拆迁人员冲进殴打的人群后，弯腰扶着腹部退了出来，趴在面包车上。另外一人则卧在马路边的水沟里，一动不动。
两名被刺的拆迁人员随即被送至附近的苏州市第七人民医院。院方向南都记者提供的记录显示，两名拆迁人员中，一人登记姓名为“胡玉龙”，年仅24岁，被一刀刺中心脏，送至医院时已经死亡；另一人登记姓名为“柳明”，40岁，身体正面和背后各中一刀，经抢救无效身亡。
当地警方在通报中称，死者分别为负责该地块的拆迁公司一名负责人和一名工作人员。
背后：拆迁公司隶属政府
据了解，范木根所在的严山村拆迁项目，由苏州高新区华通开发建设有限公司负责。该公司位于通安镇西唐路某厂房内。
顾盘珍称，拆迁部门曾表示他家280平米的房子可获赔偿款75万元，后来又被降为71万元。范家由此感到不公平，拒绝签字。对此说法，该公司工作人员拒绝表态。
该公司官网称，“苏州高新区华通开发建设有限公司，隶属于苏州高新区通安镇人民政府。本公司组建成立于2003年，是一家房地产开发公司。注册资金5000万元。主要职能是为通安镇从事基础设施的建设和标准厂房的开发。”
