华中农业大学“本禹志愿服务队”是以曾经就读于这所大学的中国十大杰出青年、中国十大杰出志愿者徐本禹名字命名的一支志愿服务团队。他们以持续扎实的行动服务基层群众，取得显著成效，涌现出一大批优秀志愿者，并获得中国青年志愿者优秀集体等称号。近日，志愿服务队的同学们给总书记写信，汇报了1200多名队员深入贫困山区支教、关爱留守儿童、关爱进城农民工子女、关爱老人和残疾人等志愿服务活动成果及他们的认识体会。
