China News Agency, Beijing, December 5 (Xinhua Zhang Shuo) Chinese President 5th XI Jinping met with Ukraine President Viktor Yanukovich held talks. Both sides will further deepen the bilateral strategic partnership and exchanged views on issues of common concern, and reached broad consensus.
XI Jinping said that since 2011, since the bilateral strategic partnership, fast-track into the long-term healthy and stable development of bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields is progressing, a bright future. XI raised a four-point proposal on further deepening bilateral relations:
First, to strengthen high-level exchanges and enhance strategic mutual trust. Two Governments, legislatures, political parties, development policy communication and timely exchange of views on the major issues on bilateral relations, consensus. In respect of national sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, firmly supported each other on major issues, support each other's independent choice of development path, support each other's efforts to achieve development and revitalization.
Second, promote pragmatic cooperation. Give full play to bilateral intergovernmental cooperation the Committee's role to strengthen agriculture, energy resources, infrastructure construction, finance, high technology and other areas of cooperation, steadily promote cooperation project. Hope that Ukrainian officials for Chinese enterprises to create more superior, friendly environment.
Third, expanding humanistic exchanges. Strengthening science, technology, education, culture, health, sports and tourism exchanges and cooperation, expand personnel exchanges, organize exchange activities for children, and increase mutual understanding.
IV, close collaboration in international and regional affairs. Promote the establishment of a just and reasonable new international political order, jointly cope with global challenges and safeguard common interests. Ukraine has contributed significantly to the communication between Eastern and Western civilizations, is located in Eurasia along the way that Ukraine is willing to participate in "Silk Road economic belt" of construction, China welcomes and is willing to work with the Ukrainian side to explore related cooperation.
Yanukovych XI Jinping, fully endorsed the proposals to further deepen bilateral relations, said black people have a brotherly friendship, mutual trust and mutual respect, friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation and remarkable achievements. Further deepen Ukraine strategic partnership conforms to the fundamental interests of the two peoples, Ukraine's adherence to the one-China policy, support China's reunification cause and willing to work with China to strengthen high-level exchanges and inter-party exchanges, overall planning and to deepen pragmatic cooperation in all areas and cultural exchanges, and close coordination in international and regional affairs. Both sides ratify the bilateral strategic partnership development plan (2014-2018).
After the talks, the two heads of State signed the People's Republic of China and Ukraine friendly cooperation treaty, the People's Republic of China and Ukraine on further deepening the strategic partnership Declaration, and witness the economic and technological cooperation agreement between the two Governments signed a number of cooperation documents.

习近平表示，自2011年中乌建立战略伙伴关系以来，两国关系步入长期健康稳定发展的快车道，各领域合作进展顺利，前景广阔。中方愿同乌方一道，从战略高度和长远角度出发，坚持相互尊重、平等相待、互利共赢，全面加强各领域合作，确保两国关系始终沿着正确轨道和方向稳步发展，造福两国人民。
习近平就进一步深化中乌关系提出四点建议：
第一，加强高层交往，增进战略互信。密切两国政府、立法机构、政党交往，拓展政策沟通渠道，就双边关系中的重大问题及时交换看法，凝聚共识。在涉及国家主权、独立和领土完整等重大问题上彼此坚定支持，支持对方自主选择的发展道路，支持对方为实现发展振兴所作努力。
第二，扎实推进务实合作。充分发挥中乌政府间合作委员会作用，加强农业、能源资源、基础设施建设、金融、高技术等领域合作，稳步推进大项目合作。希望乌方为中方企业营造更加优越、便利的环境。
第三，不断扩大人文交流。加强科技、教育、文化、卫生、体育、旅游等领域交流合作，扩大人员往来，组织好两国儿童交流活动，增进相互了解。
第四，密切在国际和地区事务中的协作。促进建立公正合理的国际政治新秩序，共同应对全球性挑战，维护共同利益。乌克兰曾为沟通东西方文明作出重要贡献，位于欧亚大陆桥必经之路，乌方愿参与“丝绸之路经济带”的建设，中方对此表示欢迎，愿与乌方探讨相关合作。
亚努科维奇完全赞同习近平进一步深化两国关系的建议，表示乌中人民有着兄弟般的友好情谊，两国相互信任，相互尊重，友好互利合作成果显著。进一步深化乌中战略伙伴关系符合两国和两国人民的根本利益，乌方坚定奉行一个中国政策，支持中国统一大业，愿与中方加强高层交往和党际交流，统筹规划并全面深化各领域务实合作和人文交流，密切在国际地区事务中的协调配合。乌方赞赏并支持中方提出的打造“丝绸之路经济带”的倡议，愿积极参与相关基础设施建设。乌方欢迎更多中国企业赴乌投资，并愿提供签证等方面便利。
双方批准《中乌战略伙伴关系发展规划(2014-2018)年》。
会谈后，两国元首共同签署了《中华人民共和国和乌克兰友好合作条约》、《中华人民共和国和乌克兰关于进一步深化战略伙伴关系的联合声明》，并共同见证了两国政府经济技术合作协定等多项合作文件的签署。
