近日，湘乡市公安局梅桥派出所接到群众报案，梅桥镇某小学教师欧阳某某多次强制猥亵女学生。接到报案后，梅桥派出所民警立即赶到该小学进行调查，并将犯罪嫌疑人欧阳某某传唤至公安机关接受讯问。
经警方初步调查，犯罪嫌疑人欧阳某某从2012年下半年开始，借单独辅导作业或教育学生的名义，以搂抱、亲嘴、抚摸等方式，多次对该校多名女学生实施猥亵。经讯问，犯罪嫌疑人欧阳某某对犯罪事实供认不讳。目前，欧阳某某因涉嫌猥亵儿童已被警方依法刑事拘留。此案正在进一步侦查中。
据了解，湘乡市委市政府已经责令当地教育部门召开全市学校安全工作会议，通报情况，采取措施督导各学校从严抓好教育管理，加强师德师风建设，组织全力排查各种侵害学生的可能因素，保障学生尤其是女生的在校安全。
湘乡市有关负责人表示，司法机关将严格依法依规查办欧阳某某，绝不姑息。目前，梅桥镇党委政府、村组以及涉事学校正在开展校园安全隐患排查等后续工作。
