I had this thing took years to develop, because I need it, and I think other people will like I need it.
Last week I released it. I say "published" refers to the posted a Tweet on Twitter.
I spent a week of spare time to let the world know it, here is what I did:
· To submit information on MacUpdate.
· Was surprised to discover that there are 40 times in a day or two after the download.
· To send messages to a number of blogs and review sites to see if they are willing to write a review article for my product.
· No reply.
· FogBugz kindly mentioned it in their Tweets.
· In line on the first day a lot of beta testing users Twitter about it.
· Thank you very much!
· Received several requests from commercial and bulk purchases, so I decided to create my own online store.
· Online store on line (fifth day), this application provides a custom registration system.
· There have not been any sale (8th day).
· Doles out a lot of discount code (~50).
· To give.
· Realized that my site has no rating on Google, and open the Administrator tool, to submit site information to Google.
· The application submitted to the Atlassian on the market.
· To send mail to more blogs and review sites (the 7th day).
· Today (8th day), this site has 2,291 hits.
· @Thebeeapp Twitter account now has 38 fans. (8th day)
So far, I harvested a total of 11 times to buy, all by MAS (8th day). Are people awaiting trial (14-day trial period) to run out to buy that? Or have you deleted? Do not know.
Reflection on the
The reactions of these review sites, maybe this is not a typical consumer applications they like.
So, now, after being neglected for so many years marketing skills, I tasted today. Market is very difficult. Is too difficult.
I'm also incredibly naive that: the product is so good, the market will own snowball like a snowball down the Hill.
I realize things are, people come to this site, download the application, do not feel like, no matter what the reason, then delete it. I was thinking maybe going to hear their feedback, never know why they want to delete it. For those who emailed me, request a feature or submit a bug report, and I was very grateful.
My stories are countless like me, so long as "publishing" programmers the same story.
Next, try AdWords, learning more about SEO knowledge, intensify changes as soon as possible to meet the functional requirements of existing users to.

反思
看这些评论网站的反应,也许这个应用不是他们喜欢的典型的消费型应用。
所以,现在,在忽视了这么多年的市场营销技能后,我今天品尝到了。做市场很难。太难了。
我还不可思议的天真的认为:这个产品如此的好,市场会像雪球下山似的自己越滚越大。
让我惊恐的事情是,人们来到这个网站,下载了这个应用,感觉不喜欢,不论什么理由,然后就把它删掉了。我想也许不会听到他们的反馈,永远不知道他们为什么要删掉它。对那些发邮件给我,要求某项功能或提交bug报告的人,我真的是非常感谢。
我的故事也是其他无数的跟我一样认为只要“发布”了即可的程序员的相同的故事。
下一步,尝试一下adwords,多学习一下SEO知识,加紧修改,尽快满足现有用户提出来的各种功能要求。
