如火如荼的“低头风”，很可能加重道路拥堵，更可能危及驾驶员自身和其他车辆、人员的安全。昨天，记者与上海公安警务车辆驾驶培训学校（下简称“市警务驾校”）的资深教官联手做实验，测试结果显示，驾驶员在开车时使用智能手机的平均用时约为5秒，在其低头玩手机的这一刹那，车轮已滚过至少65米。
测试一：行驶中看手机
从开锁到放回至少5秒，转弯时明显轨迹变形

经反复测试，开车过程中，教官朱伟拿起手机，低下头进行滑屏解锁、浏览手机屏幕信息，再将其放回原来位置，所需时间约为5秒；而把手机从裤袋取出或者接听一个较长的电话时，这个过程则延长至6-10秒。“要牢记，低头在手机上进行这些操作时，车轮是一直向前滚动的！”经肖翔检测，时速50公里时，玩手机的5秒钟内，车辆行驶距离约为65米；时速80公里时，5秒时间内驶过约110米；时速120公里时，5秒后车辆的行驶距离超过了160米。
教官朱伟还进行了转弯过程中打手机、看手机的测试。结果显示，不管驾驶技术多好，抽出几秒钟去应付手机，车轮的行驶轨迹明显出现变形。“如果在左转、右转时还走神看手机，行人、电动车一旦突然冲到车前，险情一下子就会出现。”

如果边开车边低头摆弄手机，驾驶员的注意力被分散，一个直接后果就是无法与前车保持合理距离。前车一旦因故采取紧急制动、减速，玩手机的司机无法在第一时间察觉，做出正确判断并采取相应措施的速度就要慢得多，这样一来就很容易追尾前车。
肖翔还指出另外一个不安全隐患：“边开车边玩手机的往往是熟手司机，他们会把自己的车速降下来，可能觉得会相对安全。正是这种原因，路上往往会遇到龟速行驶的车辆。后面的车辆一旦无法忍受，往往会采取变道措施。这样就会影响不止一条车道的正常行驶，发生车辆碰擦、追尾的可能性也会大大增加。”
测试二：等红灯时玩手机
有接电话有读报刊，变灯后启动至少慢1秒
昨天14时30许，在春申路、沪闵公路路口。位于沪闵公路上的红绿灯间隔约为80秒。经4次测试，80秒时间里，沿沪闵公路向北行驶的车流量约为单向20辆。
80秒内，春申路口向西行驶的车辆一时间排起了长龙，双车道里等候的车辆约为30辆。这个时间里，司机都在忙些什么呢？记者看到，不少司机把手机放在耳边，接听或拨打电话；有司机把手机平置在方向盘上，做“拇指运动”刷屏；有人拿起旁边位置上的报刊阅读；有人吃东西；有人看窗外。
而一发现红灯翻成绿灯，司机纷纷放下手机或杂物，开始启动车辆。这期间，个别驾驶员反应慢了半拍，车子动得慢了，后面的车辆会违规压线，超越慢手慢脚的头车。
如果司机没有分神玩手机，全神贯注地等红灯，绿灯一亮，第一时间启动车辆，这个过程约为1-1.5秒。而如果是“低头族”，放下玩得正欢的手机，再来察看前方道路情况，发动车辆行进，这个过程就会延长至2.5秒甚至更长。
肖翔解释：“别小看这1秒钟，如果排头的几辆车司机都玩手机，启动车辆时都慢那么一点点，就会影响到整条车道上的车辆通过率。原本一个灯能过20辆，结果只过了15辆。这种行为产生的负面效果，就会拖慢各个路口的车辆通行速度，从而加剧城市道路拥堵。”此外，由于分神玩手机，急急忙忙启动的车辆很容易“吻”上前车，或者与其他车道加速、变道的车辆发生碰擦。

肖翔提醒，为了确保交通安全，驾驶员应下决心改掉边开车边接打手机、路口停车玩手机的交通陋习。此外，他建议一定要把手机放在车内最安全的角落。“很多人习惯于把手机放在最顺手、最方便拿取的地方，如储物盒里、车辆左前门的储物槽里；有人用手机接听完电话后，会习惯把手机搁在方向盘上面，继续开车。车辆在采取紧急制动后，放置不当的手机可能会掉在驾驶员的脚下，卡在刹车、油门的踏板底下，或者卡死在方向盘的某个连接部位……这都会严重影响正常开车，从而导致惨痛后果，甚至车毁人亡。”为此肖翔建议，开车时驾驶员一定要将手机固定在安全的位置，最好改成静音状态；如一定要保持手机通信畅通，建议改用蓝牙等免提装置。
