此前苹果也向法院提出了禁售三星侵权产品的要求，但是法官以没有证据表明三星销售此类产品会令苹果遭受重大损失为由否决了该提议。上个月美国上诉法院要求法官Lucy Koh重新考虑苹果关于禁售三星相关产品的判决。因此苹果日前向法院再度提出禁售三星相关产品的要求，并希望在2014年1月30日再度开庭审理此案。

尽管苹果要求禁售的产品（Galaxy S2等）目前已经不再销售，但是苹果表示禁售令依然至关重要，“三星持续向市场推出大量新产品，这些新产品与此前被判定侵权的产品差别微乎其微，所以禁售此前的产品对于苹果应对三星未来的侵权产品至关重要。”
