淘宝发布《淘宝村研究微报告2.0》版,数据显示,截止到2013年11月30日,淘宝网(含天猫)上正常经营的注册地在农村(含县)的网店比2012年年底增长了24.9%,其中注册地在村镇级网店比2012年年底增长76.3%。

该报告指出,淘宝村正在成为改变中国农村未来的新兴力量。截止到2013年年底,国内已经发现的淘宝村数量增加到20个(2013年年中统计数量为14个)带来直接就业6万人,并且带来了物流快递、包装等服务业的大量间接就业。从全球范围来看,中国淘宝村是独一无二的经济现象。

“淘宝村”指的是网商数量达到当地家庭户数的10%以上,且电子商务交易规模达到1000万元以上。这些农村网商以淘宝为主要交易平台,形成规模效应和协同效应。

截止到2013年12月,全国已发现各种类型的淘宝村20个,遍及河北、山东、江苏、江西、浙江、福建、广东等7个省,涉及产品包括家居、服装、箱包、农产品、小商品、户外用品等多个品类。义乌市江东街道电子商务协会会长刘文高表示,青岩刘村2000多家网店今年销售总额已经突破20亿元。

淘宝村作为一种新兴的电子商务生态现象,在飞速发展的同时,也不可避免地遇到了一些困扰和问题,主要包括同质化竞争、人才缺乏、空间束缚和缺少组织等。部分发展程度较高的淘宝村,已经开始从完全草根式成长的“淘宝村1.0阶段”,进入“淘宝村2.0阶段”,集约化、品牌化、生态化、扩散化是其主要特征。

根据CNNIC统计,截至2013年6月底,我国网民规模达到5.91亿,较2012年底增加2656万人,新增网民中农村网民占到54.4%。我国农村网民规模达到1.65亿,占网民总体比例为27.9%,比2012年增加约908万人。
