Chinese delegates visit South Sudan and neighboring countries conducted good offices

Hua Chunying said that since the outbreak of the conflict in South Sudan, China has been active in mediation in his own way. China in a variety of ways to do both sides of the conflict in South Sudan, recently, Ambassador Zhong Jianhua, with South Sudanese Foreign Minister Benjamin on the phone, push the two sides to exercise restraint and calm, negotiations for a ceasefire as soon as possible. As a good friend of the people of South Sudan, as a sign of the friendship of Chinese people to the people of South Sudan, Red Cross Society of China has through the International Committee of the Red Cross to provide emergency humanitarian assistance to the people of South Sudan. China also will depend on the development of the situation in Sudan continues to offer help, also called on the international community to lend a hand to the people of South Sudan.

　　华春莹说，自南苏丹冲突爆发以来，中方一直在以自己的方式积极劝和促谈。中方通过各种方式做南苏丹冲突双方工作，日前，钟建华大使同南苏丹外长本杰明通电话，推动双方保持克制和冷静，尽快停火谈判。中方积极推动国际社会在缓解南苏丹局势方面发挥积极作用，并与伊加特、非盟及非洲国家等各方保持密切沟通、协调与配合。

　　她说，目前，南苏丹人道主义局势出现恶化，中方对此感到忧虑。作为南苏丹人民的好朋友，为表明中国人民对南苏丹人民的友好情谊，中国红十字会已通过红十字国际委员会向南苏丹人民提供紧急人道主义援助。中方还将视南苏丹局势发展继续提供力所能及的帮助，同时也呼吁国际社会向南苏丹人民伸出援助之手。
