目前,苹果还没有在任何地区有过预装第三方应用的先例,但无论是让中国大陆进入iPhone的首发名单,还是刚刚宣布的与中国移动的全方位合作,都让我们看到苹果在中国的策略在过去的两年内发生了明显的变化,其“本地化”的动作越来越大,而策略也日渐灵活与多样。微信已经成为超过5亿中国智能手机用户“必须安装”的应用程序——在下个大版本的升级后,在官方出货的苹果iPhone系列产品上看到“预装版”的微信并非不可能。

其次,是微信与iMessage的整合——

众所周知,iMessage在中国大陆市场的表现并不理想,存在感很弱,而且几乎成了垃圾信息的主战场。而对于苹果而言,依靠良好的软件生态系统去推动硬件的销售是他们当前的战略方向。iMessage的现状显然是一个麻烦和隐患。

而在中国大陆iMessage几乎被用户忽略甚至废弃的情况下,无论是将其与同样基于手机通讯录关系的微信整合,或是干脆直接导入微信自己的通讯录和关系链,都可能是苹果愿意尝试的事。而此前苹果对提供即时通信服务的软件工具态度一直敬而远之。不过,考虑到微信在跨终端能力上的欠缺,我们不能排除两种方案并行的可能性。倘真如此,微信就成了一款在苹果的全球软件生态系统里真正“破冰”的工具。
