新华网北京12月29日电（记者齐中熙）记者29日从中国铁路总公司获悉，北京至沈阳铁路客运专线项目的可行性研究报告已于2013年12月获国家批复。
该项目的建设实施，将把首都北京和东北最大城市沈阳更紧密地连接起来，项目建成后北京至沈阳间的列车运行时间可压缩至2小时30分钟左右。
北京至沈阳铁路客运专线是《中长期铁路网规划》“四纵四横”客运专线主骨架的重要组成部分，是铁路“十二五”规划的重大项目。线路自北京铁路枢纽星火站引出，途经河北省承德市，辽宁省朝阳、阜新市后接入沈阳铁路枢纽沈阳站，全长709公里，总投资1245亿元。该项目的可行性研究报告已于2013年12月获国家批复，拟按时速350公里标准设计建设。
京沈客专与哈大、京沪、京广等高速铁路连接，将进一步拓展快速客运网的覆盖面，形成东北地区通往全国各地高效、便捷的快速客运网络，大大缩短东北地区主要城市间以及与全国各区域间的时空距离，满足日趋增长的旅客运输需求；与京哈铁路、秦沈客专和津秦客专等有效衔接、合理分工，将构成多条大能力进出关铁路通道，大幅提高进出关铁路通道的客货运输能力，提高运输的机动性和灵活性，这对促进沿线城镇化进程、加快区域经济社会发展具有重大意义。
目前，中国铁路总公司已会同沿线省市启动京沈客专的施工准备工作，力争早日开工建设。
