据报道,虽然HTC公关人员表示现在谈论2014年将要推出的手机有些为时尚早。不过分析人士推测,HTC One 2将会在2014年3月份左右推出。WilsonMiao表示公开版的机型将配备4.9英寸屏幕并搭载高通骁龙的处理器,运行Android操作系统,售价可能为600美元(约合人民币3643元)从以上配置来看,这款手机并没有什么新奇之处。

据悉,HTC有35%的业务来自于中国市场,而HTC在中国的销量主要来自于中端手机。如果HTC能与由于7.6亿用户的中国第一大移动运营商中国移动达成合作的话,那么其智能手机的销量还会迅速增加。对于中国消费者来说,他们更加倾向于购买中端产品,且HTC在这一细分市场的成绩也一直很好。不过元大证券(Yuanta Securities)手机研究分析师Dennis Chan表示,现在,部分的中国消费者其实并不介意花费更多的钱来够买手机,他们负担得起更加昂贵的手机,而且许多人都已经购买了苹果的iPhone

而相比之下,美国市场已经处于饱和状态,而新兴的东南亚市场又缺乏中国的市场规模和购买能力。因此美国咨询公司高德纳( Gartner)的智能手机分析师称,就是市场份额而言,中国对于HTC来说至关重要。其需要了解中国消费者的需求,以创造出更多的产品来刺激中国消费者的购买欲望。
