刚才提到有相当数量的耕地受到中等和重度污染，大多不宜耕种。这个相当数量到底是多少？这次调查有没有发现这些受污染的土地还在耕种当中，他们生产的农产品是否已经进入市场，今后对修复这些耕地有什么措施？
王世元：
这个问题提得也很好。关于土地污染问题，环境保护部土壤状况调查结果表明，中重度污染耕地大体在五千万亩左右。我们国土资源部的地质环境调查，在区位上，在整个评价上，和他们趋同。这个问题党中央、国务院及地方各级政府高度重视，一个是采取措施，这些地方不能再继续耕种。过去出现过镉大米的新闻报道，这些问题已经得到严格制止。下一步，国家和地方政府要拿出相当大的资金修复，就是体现今后的发展要科学发展，对人民的生命财产更要负责。下一步为解决土地污染问题，国家每年将拿出几百个亿，启动重金属污染耕地修复、地下水严重超采综合治理的试点。我们所说的受污染的重点区域，都是过去经济发展比较快、工业比较发达的东中部地区，长三角、珠三角，还有东北老工业基地，还有湖南有一些地方，都是重工业的地方，这些地方要进行修复和治理，也要进一步退耕还林还草，这都需要统一部署。我相信，经过努力，这些治理能够取得较好的效果。
