1984年，全莉在北京大学毕业后远赴欧洲，5年后到美国沃顿商学院攻读MBA，毕业后在时尚界一直做到古奇公司的“全球品牌认证官”。1997年，全莉陪着后来成为她丈夫的沃顿同学斯图尔特·博锐第一次到非洲，初次近距离接触了野生动物，由此激发了她保护野生动物的热情。

丈夫利用基金会逃税？
“所有的人都被我丈夫利用了……尤其是基金会。”全莉称，博锐存在偷税等行为，并从中获益。

与中国的合作是否获益？

作为拯救中国虎国际基金会的中国合作方，中国林业科学院研究院野生动物植物研究与发展中心主任陆军当时对记者表示，斯图尔特·博锐先生是一个成功的银行家，他们敏锐地发现了中国日渐紧张的林业资源产业蕴含的巨大经济利益，无可厚非。同时，他在国外募集资金用于投资，在其募集地是合法的运作行为。他也否认森发公司在中国的投资减少了若干行政成本。
博锐当时的回应则是，“我可以向你保证我已经倾尽所有投入到拯救中国虎的项目当中，包括我的金钱，我的时间，我的精力以及我的名誉。为了这个计划，我已经连续六年没有收取任何酬劳，全职投入到该项目当中，我的妻子全莉也是如此。”
陆军日前在接受北青报记者电话采访时仍否认博锐在合作中有获取经济利益的说法。“中方不清楚基金会资金运作情况，但两口子闹离婚，我们不能轻信任何一方的说法。”陆军说。
博锐则对北青报记者表示，自己将继续代表拯救中国虎国际基金会在北京为华南虎的回归建立所需的政治和经济的支持。
华南虎何时能够回归？
陆军坦承“项目进展比预期的要缓慢”，与此同时，全莉正在成立一家新的慈善组织。
博锐在2012年7月24日已终止了全莉与拯救中国虎国际基金会的任何关系，相当于全莉被丈夫“开除”出基金会。全莉对记者说，自己一年多以来没有见过老虎，不了解老虎的任何消息，手中的相关资料和账目，也全被丈夫拿走。
“中方的项目一直跟基金会合作，谁代表基金会，我们就跟他继续履行合同，基金会内部人员变动，跟我们没关系。”陆军对北青报记者说，“当初全莉是代表基金会的成员，但现在她丈夫把她从基金会里开除了。全莉没有见过老虎，但项目却还在继续运行。”
在合作中，拯救中国虎国际基金会负责华南虎的南非驯养工作，而中方负责老虎出境的审批、老虎回国放归地的考察、选点等。陆军表示，现在华南虎在南非非常好，“刚出生了一只第三代幼崽”。
《新世纪周刊》记者在去年11月中旬赴南非采访华南虎驯养所在的老虎谷自然保护区。如今这里生活着15只华南虎，有9只已具备捕猎能力。按照2002年的合作协议，华南虎应在2008年重新引入中国野外。但因为国家林业局此前的三处华南虎放归自然实验区选址仍未获得国家正式批复和立项，华南虎回国遥遥无期。陆军也坦承“项目进展比预期的要缓慢”。
全莉则在被丈夫踢出基金会后，和顶级离婚律师阿依莎·瓦达格(Ayesha Vardag)合作，试图破解“丈夫异常复杂的金融迷宫”，并通过法律途径争夺自己应有的权益。
“具有讽刺意义的是，全莉女士将她的一生投入到华南虎的福祉中，却发现她自己不得不像她的猫科动物朋友们一样，凭借战斗才能保护自己的权益。”律师瓦达格说，“根据本案涉及的5000万英镑金额来看，应当有足够的资金来照料老虎和相关人士。然而，全莉女士却被切断了所有支持。”她表示，根据英国法律，全莉在正常情况下应当能够获取其丈夫资产的一半。
全莉正在成立一家新的慈善组织，与博锐先生无任何瓜葛，名为“中国虎复兴”慈善基金会，她计划用离婚所得的清偿款项来为该组织提供资金。在去年12月这次持续10天的高等法院听证会进行的同时，中国虎复兴基金会在知名人士邓永锵等人的赞助下主办了筹款晚宴。
“新基金将与我丈夫是唯一董事的拯救中国虎国际基金会划清界限。同时也希望我们新的慈善组织能够确保我们支持者的捐款100%被正确使用。”全莉说。
