前天早上，北碚市民为看轨道开通挤得地铁站限制人流，昨天晚上，重庆人和外地客为坐重新开放的长江索道排起长队。
连续两天，两个名字带“道”的交通工具，给冬日里的山城带来了新玩法。
“你们一定要在明天的报纸上，帮我们写免费票每人只限领一张了，要不然晚上我们装不完客人了！”昨晚，望着长江索道售票窗口外排着的百米长龙，索道公司党委书记孔德兰神情焦急，“长江索道多少年都没有像今晚这么火爆了，免门票来了这么多人，真是让我们完全没料到！”
新索道 更平稳
昨天一早，长江索道按原计划重新开放，这是它停运几个月之后的重新开放。
家住渝北两路的于亮，昨天一大早就带着女朋友来坐长江索道，“我是个重庆人，但是居然没有坐过长江索道，也没有坐过嘉陵江索道，我觉得我作为一个重庆人，人生都是不完整的。”于亮笑嘻嘻地说，元旦一定要来感受下索道。
长江索道白天的运行速度，和在停运改造之前是一样的，最大的区别不在索道本身，而是索道站看上去整洁和现代了一些，老式铁门变成了蓝色荧光的有机玻璃闸门，和索道有关的电影剧照，在站台上有充分的展现。
每趟索道的单面时间还是4分钟。下午两点半，晨报记者从新华路一侧坐往上新街，车上的老年乘客并不多，年轻人都拿出手机在照照片，索道轿厢到了江心，一位乘客笑着说，“还是原来的味道啊！”大家都笑了。
长江索道本轮改造，最核心的，是改造了电气系统，索道的行进速度可以调整，索道的运行平稳性大为增强，在索道上晃来晃去的感觉会减少，长江索道两岸的景致和轿厢，都还保持原有的老味道。
慢动作 按快门
昨天晚上6点半，离长江索道免费乘坐还有一个小时，新华路索道站已经排起了第二条队伍。7点10分，这个等候免票的队伍已经排了50来米。
7点半，第一班减速运行的索道，准点从两岸对发。
71岁的沈水月婆婆和她的侄女从外地来，她们都是第一次坐长江索道。老人在索道的老弱病残孕座上坐下后，望着窗外的景色，连呼“幸运”。
索道轿厢出站很快就减速了，在运行了三分钟左右的时间时，索道轿厢悬停在了空中。
大家都知道这个停车是为了拍摄设计的，于是纷纷掏出手机相机啪啪拍个不停。
两分钟后，索道轿厢再次启动，慢速前往对岸，到达对岸的时间，记者用秒表测算，是9分钟左右。
从上新街回程的时候，上车的乘客也是争先恐后，为的就是占一个好一点的观景位置。这趟也在空中进行了悬停，停时1分20秒，到达对岸停稳，用了8分20秒。看来中途停多久，索道公司还在摸索中。
人太多 原速开
晨报记者回到长江索道新华路的时候，索道站下面，人群已经在寒风中排到了农业银行处的马路上，队伍绵延已经有百米之遥。夜色中，仍有源源不断前来的游客，甚至还有推着婴儿车的父母。看他们的表情，对索道的期盼似乎战胜了天寒，大家都在热闹地交换着自己知道的和索道有关的各种信息。
“看这场面，今晚9点半肯定是运不完乘客的，索道不能用慢动作观景了，人必须全部在今晚运完！”孔德兰书记和一群员工站在索道站前商议。昨天，索道公司几乎所有员工都没有放假，全部在维持秩序，那种场面，有点像长江索道1987年刚开通时的情形。
昨夜，一共有2505张免费票发放到了乘客手中，市索道公司临时决定，取消索道“慢动作”开行，改为原速开行，4分钟一班车迅速疏散乘客。晚上10点，所有乘客终于运送完毕。
昨天每位乘客可以领三张免费票，为缓解拥堵，市索道公司从今晚开始改为每位乘客只能领一张免费票，到对岸之后需要重新拿免费票，或者买票才能回来，并且不允许直接坐“回头车”。
按照市索道公司的估计，长江索道昨天发送的人数在1万以上，外地口音大约四分之一，这说明重庆市民对长江索道的感情是很深的。一段时间的检修，加上嘉陵江索道的拆卸，让重庆人更加想念长江索道这种简单而怀旧的交通方式了。

两江索道演绎过精彩的电影和故事
昨天来乘坐索道的外地人，一半都是从电影《疯狂的石头》认识长江索道的。在这个空中的大箱子里，发生过太多的故事。
《疯狂的石头》中的“谢小萌”在长江索道轿厢里耍宝被高跟鞋狠踩一脚后，手中的可乐罐从轿厢窗户飞出，带出了一个戏剧化的故事。后来，在索道上扔可乐罐到江里，成了一种流行。
《周渔的火车》则让人记住了南滨路和长江索道之间的关系，巩俐和梁家辉、孙红雷的对手戏，火车的来往，和索道联系的两岸，都暗示着两地恋其实就像被一根绳索所牵的轿厢，是否坚固只能去感受。
2011年2月28日嘉陵江索道停运后，只破例运行过一次———为了配合电影《宝马狂想曲》的拍摄，演员陈小春和戎祥在沧白路边有一场对手戏，背景是来往于嘉陵江上的索道的轿厢，以证明这是重庆。
嘉陵江索道的轿厢则从昨天开始拆除，《宝马狂想曲》已经成为嘉陵江索道的绝唱。
为了让大家对长江索道有更多样的记忆，索道公司在新开放的长江索道两岸车站，都用了大量的区域来展示和索道有关的电影。
