　　人民网北京1月2日电(记者 马丽) 有“杂交水稻之父”之称的著名农学家袁隆平近日在接受媒体采访时谈到对转基因的看法，认为转基因也是今后的发展方向，同时透露他也正在进行转基因水稻的相关研究。







　　袁隆平用浓重的湖南口音一字一顿地说，“转基因不能一概而论”。他认为，转基因是今后的发展方向。







　　袁隆平认为，现在引起公众担忧的主要是抗病抗虫基因，即毒蛋白基因。他透露，他正在研究把玉米的碳四基因转到水稻中，光合效率可以提高30%到50%，提高产量。“这样的转基因有什么吃不得？玉米不是照样吃。”袁隆平反问。“我们吃的大豆四分之三来自美国，也是转基因啊。”他补充道。







　　在谈到自己的梦想时，袁隆平表示希望推广自己的杂交稻品种“走出国门”，有一天能够覆盖全球一半种植水稻的面积，同时希望政府扶植几个龙头企业。
