该知情人士透露，通过网帖中“路政人员”、“执法罚款”等字眼，大致能推断出涉事单位为武鸣县交通运输局下属公路所某路政大队。恰巧，在某路政大队中，其领导职务及姓氏与网帖内容相对应，“从网帖内容看，真实性较高，但实际情况还需当地纪委介入调查了解”。

1月3日下午，武鸣县交通运输局詹副局长表示，2013年12月30日，局办公室接到通报称，在武鸣县当地论坛里，有一网帖揭露局里有关人员违纪的行为。局领导得知这一信息后，于当天成立了处置小组，采取了多项措施进行处理。
