近年来，诸如瘦肉精、毒奶粉、毒豆芽、毒生姜、地沟油、问题胶囊、病死猪肉、狐狸肉冒充羊肉等食品安全问题频发，令人触目惊心，打击着民众对食品安全的信心。
中国社会科学院不久前发布的《中国社会发展年度报告2013》显示，食品安全成为公众最不满意的前三大事项之一。
政法系统“组合拳”整治食品安全“顽疾”
面对严峻的食品安全形势，中央政法委协调有关部门，积极推动食品药品安全综合治理，完善法律法规，健全制度机制，依法严厉打击，加强监督管理，形成了维护食品药品安全的整体合力。
一年来，公安系统频出“重拳”，破解食品安全“顽疾”。2013年1月25日，公安部部署全国公安机关开展打击食品犯罪保卫餐桌安全专项行动；5月2日，公安部公布了专项行动中侦破的十起打击肉制品犯罪典型案例；7月下旬，公安部开展“云端行动”，打击利用互联网非法经营药品、制售假药犯罪。
与此同时，最高法、最高检系统也是频频出招。2013年5月3日，最高人民法院、最高人民检察院发布《关于办理危害食品安全刑事案件适用法律若干问题的解释》，明确了危害食品安全相关犯罪的定罪量刑标准，为食品安全犯罪设定了“高压线”， 对依法有效打击危害食品安全犯罪发挥积极作用。
侦破3.2万起案件 为2012年破案总量2.6倍
在一系列“组合拳”之下，食品安全治理成效初显。中新网记者日前从公安部了解到，在为期一年的“打击食品犯罪保卫餐桌安全”专项行动中，挂牌督办重大案件1100余起，各地共侦破各类食品安全犯罪案件3.2万起，捣毁“黑工厂”、“黑作坊”、“黑窝点”、“黑市场”2.8万余个，是2012年破案总量的2.6倍，有效遏制了犯罪高发势头，有力维护了百姓餐桌安全。
此外，各级政法机关还组织开展了打击制售假药犯罪的“云端行动”。在这次专项行动中，共打掉犯罪团伙400多个，抓获犯罪嫌疑人1300多名，涉案价值22亿余元。
中新网记者同时从最高人民法院了解到，2013年1至10月，全国法院共受理危害食品安全犯罪案件1159件，审结886件，生效判决人数1403人。此外，还有部分危害食品安全犯罪案件以生产、销售伪劣产品罪、非法经营罪等罪名定罪处罚。
“舌尖上的安全”任重道远 应加大监督力度
目前，虽然食品安全犯罪高发势头得到有效遏制，但食品安全仍需要持续关注和重视。
不久前闭幕的中央农村工作会议重点强调了食品安全问题。会后发布的2600余字公告共九次提到“食品安全”一词。会议强调，要用最严谨的标准、最严格的监管、最严厉的处罚、最严肃的问责，确保广大人民群众“舌尖上的安全”。
