京华时报讯(记者张然)从2014年起，除法定节假日和暑期(每年7月1日至8月31日)外，故宫将正式实行周一全天闭馆。今天故宫首次全天闭馆，工作人员此前已提前贴出公告，提醒观众合理安排参观时间，以免白跑。
故宫已提前在午门和端门之间贴出公告，并与市旅游委提前通气，协助做好旅行社的通知工作。针对散客，故宫的官方网站也将周一闭馆的公告进行了“置顶”。同时，故宫的官方微博和微信将发出提示。
故宫博物院自去年4月1日起，正式实行周一下午闭馆措施。由于提前主动向观众发布闭馆信息和说明原因，所以实行每周一下午闭馆的措施得到了社会公众的普遍理解。但对于这个长期超负荷运转的世界文化遗产地，每周半天的闭馆时间不能满足文物喘息的需要。
从今天起，周一闭馆将由半天改为全天。闭馆期间，文物建筑、文物展品等将得以保养，安防、消防报警设备得以测试，观众服务设施得到维修，一线员工将进行集中培训，院容卫生也将得到更为彻底的清理。
但在“五一”、“十一”等法定节假日及暑期客流高峰，故宫不但不会闭馆，还将延长开放时间，满足观众的参观需求。

每周闭馆一天是国内外惯例
实际上，每周一天闭馆已是国内外博物馆的惯例。国内实行周一闭馆的博物馆有中国国家博物馆、首都博物馆、中国人民革命军事博物馆、陕西历史博物馆、湖南省博物馆、四川博物馆等诸多国家级、省级知名博物馆。而法国的卢浮宫、俄罗斯的艾尔米塔什博物馆等世界级博物馆每周也均有一天闭馆的规定。
