　　现在法庭还在进行法庭调查阶段，公诉机关认为被告人高文平、司欣、姚军民和王莉四人身为国有事业单位的工作人员，在工作中严重不负责任，致使张淑侠趁机从医院将多名婴儿抱出拐卖。案发后，境内外媒体对该事件进行了大量的报道，造成了恶劣的社会影响，致使国家的利益遭受了重大的损失。

　　公诉机关认为，上述四名被告人的行为已经触犯了《中华人民共和国刑法》第168条的规定，犯罪事实清楚，证据确实充分，应当以事业单位人员失职罪追究4名被告人的刑事责任。所以依据诉讼法对4名被告人提起了公诉，请求法院依法进行判决。而四名被告人对公诉机关对他们指控的犯罪事实也认为是属实的。

　　在举证和质证阶段，公诉人举出了四部分证据来证明4名被告人有罪。第一个证据，四名被告人主体身份、岗位职责以及妇幼保健医院的制度；第二个证据，证实妇幼保健院制度不健全的证据和被告人履行职责不到位的证据；第三个证据，贩婴案造成了严重后果，使公众对医院丧失公信力的证据；最后一个是综合证据。

　　在辩护人举证阶段，辩护人举出了妇幼保健院产科以及被告人高文平、姚军民所获得的荣誉来为他们进行证据上的辩护。对于公诉人所举的证据法庭对这些证据均予以了确认，而对于辩护人举出的产科及高文平本人获得的荣誉证据，法庭经过和议后不予确认。
