事故发生后，蒲城县立即启动突发事件应急预案，成立了爆炸事故处置领导小组。据悉，该客运班车属于陕西宏华客运有限责任公司。据该县一位跑同路线的客运司机介绍，当事司机40多岁，已有10多年的驾龄。

在县医院，据一位32岁的黄姓乘客介绍，他当时坐在前排，爆炸声是在车后边响起的，爆炸后车上的灯全灭了。等他缓过神来，才发现所有的车窗玻璃都破碎了，他赶紧从车窗跳了下来。“爆炸应是在后五排。”腿部受了外伤的黄先生说，前边的乘客没有大碍。

有几个人被炸出车窗
昨晚，在蒲城县博爱医院重症病房内靠门口处，蒲城县龙阳镇25岁的伤者雷小颖躺在病床上，面部沾满血迹。
雷小颖丈夫的姑姑段女士讲，侄子郭某与他媳妇雷小颖从西安乘大巴车赶回来，没想到不幸遇此事件。事发后，雷小颖被紧急送往博爱医院，而郭某被送往蒲城县医院。医护人员告诉段女士，雷小颖全身多处灼伤，还有骨折。
值班护士透露，该院当晚共收治13位伤者。据初步诊断，全身多处灼伤者居多，少数骨折、挫裂伤。有两名伤者被诊断为外伤性耳聋，一名伤者为鼓膜穿孔。年龄最大的38岁，是一位女性，最小的5岁。伤者中，共有两名小孩。其中，5岁男孩张某全身多处损伤，8岁男孩王某被诊断为脑震荡、全身多处灼伤。
该院一工作人员透露，其中有一位伤者送到后，因伤情严重紧急转院，“听说转到西安去了，腿都炸没了……”
本报另一路记者在蒲城县医院了解到，至少有10位伤者正接受治疗，年龄最大是一名37岁女性。伤者多为外伤、耳鸣等。“爆炸后，我看到有几个人被从车窗炸飞了出去。”在该院接受治疗的一位乘客接受警方询问时说，等司机打开车门时，门口的台阶上都躺着人。

爆炸客车出站时满员但未超员
昨晚，纺织城客运站负责人表示，爆炸的客车是从纺织城客运站始发至蒲城的，车辆到达车站时做了例行安全检查之后才报了下一轮班次，车辆出站时是满员状态但并未超员。
爆炸的客车属于陕西宏华客运有限责任公司，事发后，西安市运管处和纺织城客运站所属的陕西平安运输集团负责人赶往纺织城客运站，调取车辆的相关信息，对此事展开调查。昨晚10时，纺织城客运站相关负责人表示，这辆客车荷载47人(包括1名驾驶员和1名乘务员)，车辆出站时，是满员状态，但并未超员。同时他表示，按照车站的规定和流程，每位乘客进站乘车时人和包必须经过安检。该人士说，进入车站的所有客车，要经过车站正规的安检技术检查，车辆没有问题时才能报班。
按照西安市运管处的要求，客运站场要严格执行交通部“三不进站、五不出站”规定，分别是危险品不进站、无关人员不进站、无关车辆不进站，超载客车不出站、安全例检不合格客车不出站、驾驶员资格不符合要求不出站、客车证件不齐全不出站、“出站登记表”未经审核签字不出站。
