据了解，40岁的黄伟任教于该校烹饪与食品工程学院，此前参加中国第29次南极科考中山站餐饮管理任务。约半月前，他结束了任务，在中山站登上“雪龙”号准备随船归国。
该校烹饪与食品工程学院副院长王辉亚介绍， 三天前，黄伟给妻子发过一条短信，告之一切正常，请家人和学校放心。目前，学校正在关注“雪龙”号脱困进展情况，积极设法与黄伟取得联系。
据了解，从2008年中国第26次南极科考以来，武汉商学院已先后有12名师生到南极参加科考餐饮管理，另两名参加中国第30次南极科考的该校老师方元法和毕业生胡馨，已分别于2013年12月13日和12月3日出发，均已安全抵达长城站，从事餐饮管理工作。

美“北极星”号破冰船受命救援
据新华社电澳大利亚海事安全局5日早发表最新声明说，该局已要求美国海岸警卫队“北极星”号破冰船前往南极联邦湾，协助救援遭受浮冰围困的中俄两艘科考船。据悉，“北极星”号去年12月初已在前往南极途中，目前正停靠在悉尼港口。澳海事局声明说，“北极星”号已接受澳海事局请求，将于5日从悉尼出发，前往出事海域。澳海事局预计，“北极星”号将在7天内抵达出事海域，协助救援。
