据联发科表示，通过整合共振充电技术，联发科的全新的多模无线充电解决方案相比传统的感应式充电优势明显，对设备的安放位置不再有严格要求，甚至可以在另一个房间内给智能手机或平板电脑等产品充电。此外新技术还可以支持同时为多个设备充电。

业界也十分看好无线充电的发展前景。HIS分析师Ryan Sanderson表示，2013年无线充电接收设备出货量约2000万部，在2018年这一数字有望达到7亿。
