热忱的背后，则是正在被富士康改变的河南。
富士康改变河南
得益于富士康效应，河南省在六大支柱产业中的钢铁、电解铝、煤炭等纷纷“凋零”时，最终保住了经济的正增长。
此前，在国家工信部公布的淘汰落后产能名单中，河南省成为“重灾区”，涉及15个行业、230家企业的项目要被关闭，这个数量在全国名列第一。河南省因此陷入经济转型阵痛期。
如何转型？时任河南省副省长张大卫在接受媒体采访时阐述说，推动富士康这样的重量级企业由沿海向河南大规模转移，就是利用河南省劳动力丰富优势来大力推动劳动密集型发展，并促进产业结构升级发展高新技术产业的具体体现。
富士康科技集团总经理陈辉龙接受当地媒体采访时则说，目前，富士康正在积极带动其智能手机全产业链企业落户郑州，目前，已经有百余家上下游的重要部件配套产业链企业在郑州设厂。未来几年，富士康还将加快推动为其手机上下游配套的上千家企业入驻郑州。
而在当地，另一项以富士康郑州园区为基础的计划也在实施之中。
2013年3月，一个以富士康郑州园区为产业基础，以郑州新郑国际机场为依托的郑州航空港经济综合实验区组建成立，并随后成为全国首个上升为国家战略的航空港经济发展先行区。

而在去年的11月底，河南省政府又与马云旗下的菜鸟网络签订战略合作框架协议，此后不久，京东商城也宣布，将在河南投资30亿元，在河南建设中原运营中心，同时也是京东在中部省份的唯一一个一级中心。
对此，河南省委书记郭庚茂在该省与菜鸟网络的签约仪式上说，河南省委、省政府于2011年引进富士康是一件大事，它的意义在于开了河南与大型跨国集团展开战略性合作的先河，标志着河南承载产业转移的能力达到一个新阶段。
