西城区人大代表、北京大学第一医院院长刘玉村昨天接受采访时透露，年底大兴院区将开工建设，预计2017年左右竣工投入使用，该医院将成为北京城南地区首家国家级医院，预计将强有力地改善中心城区医疗资源紧张局面。
刘玉村介绍，该医院设置1200张床位，其中五成用于妇幼。医院建筑面积现在18万平米，接近目前中心城区北大医院的建筑规模。预计门诊日均5000到6000人。刘玉村介绍，该医院毗邻高速，进京看病的河北、河南患者可直接就近入院。
据介绍，新院区最大特色是配建停机坪，“在五环外具备停机条件、低空飞行条件，而且位于新机场附近，具备建设直升机机库条件，为抢救病人节省时间。”
据悉，该院区地块在地铁4号线高米店站南200米，2013年正式立项，国家投资三分之二、北京投资三分之一建设，将成为城南第一家国家级医院。

西城区人民政府区长王少峰介绍，今年金融街将按照南北连片、资源整合、统筹规划、辐射联动的思路，推动“一核心、四街区、两配套”布局形成，加快打造8平方公里的金融中心区，强化国家金融中心功能。
