昨天，北青报记者从北京铁路局北京车辆段了解到，车辆段对临客列车的检修已经全部完毕，随时可以上线。以往，旅客列车上的插座因为防火安全多数都没有电，但现在随着电子产品的普及，充电插座成了车上的必备品。今年，北京局所有列车包括临客上的220伏电源插座全部经过检修具备带电功能。
另据了解，今年，北京铁路局自编临客16组，其中只有2组绿皮车，是历年春运最少的一次，其他的临客都是舒适的空调车。
