省应急办表示，省卫计委报告称，2014年1月7日，广州市疾控中心在广州市海珠区迎福阁酒楼厨房采集的17份外环境样本中检出3份样本H 7N 9禽流感病毒核酸阳性；省疾控中心在汕头市金平区龙北市场外环境监测采集的34份样本中检出8份样本H 7N 9禽流感病毒核酸阳性。当地政府立即启动应急响应，采取有效措施，做好相关防控、处置工作。
“三份样本中，有两份来自鸡，一份来自厨房砧板”，广州市疾控中心相关人士透露道。不过，这次阳性环境样本的检出，与早先省卫计委6日通报的广州收治确诊病例的流行病学调查有关。
据悉，该病例定期往返佛山、广州运送活鸡，而活鸡的广州接收地，正好就是本次通报的酒楼。“由于该病例的初次诊断由广州疾控中心进行，发现为阳性，相关的流行病学调查工作立即就开展了。”
该病例的活动场所也成为调查重点区域。“发现该酒楼存在阳性样本后，相关部门当天就对酒楼采取了歇业处理。并将厨房内的食材、砧板等物品进行了无害化处理，酒楼内部进行彻底的消毒、清洗。”现在，该酒楼已恢复正常营业。
目前，包括该酒楼从业人员在内的27名相关人员，正在接受为期七天的医学观察。截至目前，观察对象均暂未发现有异常反应。
