They asked me if I was often the first question is: why does Japan militarists compared to Voldemort?

I would like to borrow United Kingdom known to the world as metaphor to enable Western readers immediately know that the Yasukuni Shrine is a kind of place, then to understand why China is firmly opposed to Abe's visits to the Yasukuni Shrine, and why the international community should jointly guard against Japan militarism. 　　如果把军国主义比作日本的伏地魔，靖国神社无疑是藏匿这个国家灵魂最黑暗部分的魂器

　　今年元旦，我投书英国主流大报《每日电讯报》，痛斥日本首相安倍参拜靖国神社的错误行径，并将日本军国主义喻为小说《哈利·波特》中的伏地魔。

　　《每日电讯报》打破评论文章长度限制全文照发，还特意在头版配发引导性评论。英国与其他国家媒体也先后发表评论，认为中国外交官使用异乎寻常的生动语言，发起前所未有的舆论攻势。英国广播公司电视台和广播电台以及英国独立电视台等纷纷对我进行采访。他们问我的第一个问题往往就是：为什么将日本军国主义比作伏地魔？

　　我想借用英国甚至全球熟知的形象作比喻，使西方读者一下子就明白靖国神社是一个什么样的场所，进而理解为什么中国坚决反对安倍参拜靖国神社，为什么国际社会要共同防范日本军国主义复活。身在英国，耳濡目染，我头脑中自然而然出现了英国小说《哈利·波特》及其同名电影中的大反派——伏地魔的形象。

　　将日本军国主义比作伏地魔恰当吗？两者能否画上等号？仔细思考后，发现确有三大共同点：

　　一是日本军国主义与伏地魔都代表着黑暗和邪恶，罪恶滔天。在《哈利·波特》中，伏地魔是最大魔头，亦被称为“黑魔王”，人们闻之色变，其统治的时代以毁灭为标志。日本军国主义历史上给亚洲各国带来了深重灾难，罪行罄竹难书。

　　二是两者都阴魂不散，借尸还魂。日本军国主义在二战中受到致命打击，但并未被彻底清算。今天，靖国神社就是军国主义的招魂社，供奉着二战甲级战犯，宣扬错误的历史观；日本政治正在加速右倾化，军国主义有复活之势。无独有偶，伏地魔一度肉身被摧毁，但借助藏匿其部分灵魂的“魂器”，死灰复燃，卷土重来。

　　三是两者都不能姑息纵容，需除恶务尽。伏地魔最终被正义力量彻底消灭，魔法世界又实现和平。然而，日本军国主义正在重新成为今天亚洲的不稳定之源、不安全之根。中国需要联合国际社会共同行动，销恶于复萌，弭祸于未形。这是一场得道多助、失道寡助的正义斗争。

　　尽管日本军国主义存在于现实，伏地魔是文学作品中的虚构人物，但两者如出一辙，并无二致。

　　于是就产生了我文章的第一段：“小说《哈利·波特》中，伏地魔把自己的灵魂分藏在7个魂器中，消灭伏地魔的唯一方法是把7个魂器全部摧毁。如果把军国主义比作日本的伏地魔，靖国神社无疑是藏匿这个国家灵魂最黑暗部分的魂器”。

　　有英国读者对文章评价道，这个比喻如此贴切和通俗易懂，鲜明表达了中国立场。英国电视、电台主持人和记者也认为，将日本军国主义比作伏地魔生动、形象、有穿透力。

　　在国际传播过程中，是使用我们自己惯常的概念和表述，仅仅翻译一下就照搬到国外，还是用“本土化”表达激发更多共鸣？答案自然是后者。讲好中国故事、传播好中国声音，需要不断探索。
