马先生说，大批不同警种的警力赶来支援，还有救护车现场待命。数名警察对电动车保养店形成合围。
同时，警方一直隔着卷帘门对屋内喊话劝说。“没有效果，里面没有任何回应”，马先生说。

昨日16时37分，昆明警方称，持刀男子为郑某(男，云南昭通人)。昨日11时左右，在一二一大街一商店门口盗窃一辆山地自行车时被巡逻民警发现，在对其进行抓捕的过程中，男子逃跑，逃至文昌巷某酒店门口，用随身携带的刀具将在酒店门口施工的一男子挟持。
昨日下午14时47分，经公安机关对嫌疑人开展劝说工作无效后，警方果断采取措施，各警种配合将犯罪嫌疑人郑某当场抓获，被挟持人质成功获救，整个处置过程中未发生人员伤亡。目前，案件正在进一步调查中。
