随着各省两会的陆续召开，2013年地方经济表现也逐步揭晓。
广东GDP今年将超韩国
昨日，广东省政协第十一届二次会议召开各小组讨论会议，广东省政协委员、广东统计局局长幸晓维在参加小组讨论时透露，广东GDP今年有望超韩国。
这也意味着继1998年超越新加坡、2003年超越中国香港、2007年超越中国台湾等地之后，在2014年，广东即将赶上亚洲四小龙中仅存的韩国。目前韩国经济总量位居世界第十五位。
此前广东省公开数据显示，初步预计2013年广东经济增长8.5%，GDP达6.23万亿元(人民币，下同)，成为全国唯一一个超6万亿元的省份，同时突破1万亿美元。
不过，在多位业内人士看来，即便经济总量超越了韩国，广东仍存在很多不足。暨南大学管理学院教授胡刚告诉《第一财经日报》，广东人口是韩国的两倍多，所以人均GDP仍差韩国很远。在产业结构方面，广东现在仍以劳动密集型产业为主，而韩国拥有不少具有国际影响力的大企业，差距十分明显。
广东省综合改革发展研究院副院长彭澎说，在产业高端化方面，广东虽然也有华为、中兴这些可以跟三星叫板的企业，但总体上看，无论在产业的高端化还是制造业的品牌建设方面，差距仍非常大。
胡刚说，尽管韩国首尔与其他地区的差距也比较大，但广东珠三角与东西北的区域失衡更为严重，东西北地区人均GDP低于全国平均水平。此外，无论是人均收入占GDP比重、环境保护程度、社会保障、文化发展等方面，广东与韩国均存在不小的差距。
曾到韩国考察的彭澎对一个细节感受特别深。他说韩国农村的房子虽然不新，但很整洁。经济总量只是一个表面，而内在的社会建设、生态文明才反映真正的差距。
彭澎说，虽然广东人均GDP即将突破一万美元，但广东在进入这个水平时与韩国差距太大了，很多人并没有享受到人均一万美元带来的好处，很多人甚至游离于社会公共服务体系之外。
广东GDP破万亿美元大关意味着广东经济进入了一个新的层次，但跨入万亿美元大关，对于广东而言，同时也是一道坎。目前广东的经济增速已经逐渐从过去的高速增长进入到一个中速增长的平台。
胡刚认为，广东经济总量已经很大，数量上去的同时，质量如何跟上是最大的挑战。在新的阶段，广东在保持一定的增速的同时，如何成功实现转型调整，并在社会建设、文化发展等方面着力十分关键。
福建跨入2万亿俱乐部
在广东突破6万亿大关的同时，邻省“小弟”福建也取得了新的跨越。近日召开的福建两会公布的数据显示，2013年全省生产总值(GDP)为21910亿元，增长11%。这意味着，该省GDP首次迈进2万亿元大关，跨入“两万亿俱乐部”。
在华侨大学工商管理学院副院长陈金龙教授看来，由于物价因素，福建突破2万亿与当年广东2005年时突破2万亿时不能相提并论。福建虽然地处沿海，但过去长期处于海防前线，加上山多地少，交通相当不便，因此能突破2万亿大关也着实不易。这两年把浙江、江西和广东的高铁开通后，福建应该做好整个生产要素的配置、产业链的布局。
值得一提的是，在福建区域经济布局中，闽江口区域经济发展越发凸显。12日开幕的福建省十二届人大二次会上，福建省省长苏树林所作的政府工作报告中提出，将支持福州闽江口金三角区域经济发展，加快福州和厦漳泉大都市区建设，增强中心城市辐射带动和综合服务能力。
过去很长一段时间，福建经济重心一直在闽南厦漳泉地区，与闽南互动较好的闽西龙岩也高速发展，而作为省会的福州经济总量上不如泉州，城市影响力和辐射力不如厦门，福建南北经济发展失衡颇为明显。
陈金龙说，改革开放后，厦门是经济特区，泉州又是著名侨乡，民营经济发展得最好，因此整个闽南地区的经济活力和体制机制活力最强。相比之下，福州以国有企业为主，在发展活力上不如闽南。这几年，闽江口的区位优势在不断凸显，开放力度也比较大。对福建来说，加快闽江口区域经济发展也是解决福建区域平衡发展的需要。
也正是如此，2009年，福州以下辖平潭县为基础，建立了福州平潭综合实验区。2011年11月，国务院正式批准《平潭综合实验区总体发展规划》，提出要把平潭建设成为“两岸同胞合作建设、先行先试、科学发展的共同家园”。
福州市市长杨益民在本月初召开的福州两会上透露了福州新区的构想。杨益民称，《福州新区发展规划》草案已在国家发改委下属规划部门的协助下完成，今年将积极申报福州新区上升为国家战略。此外，福州还将借力平潭自由港计划，联合申报自由贸易区。
按照规划，福州新区以马尾新城为核心，涵盖从南翼江阴半岛到北翼罗源湾的福州沿江沿海开发地带，包括了仓山区、马尾区、福清市、长乐市、连江县和罗源县等6个县(市)区的部分地区。2014年福州新区将启动300个项目建设，力争完成投资1000亿元人民币。
加上福建在内，目前突破2万亿大关的省份已经达到了12个。按照预计数，目前6万亿梯队的有广东一家，紧随广东之后的是江苏和山东，处于5万亿梯队。
目前4万亿梯队暂时空缺。浙江和河南处于3万亿梯队。剩下的则是规模庞大的2万亿梯队，包括河北、辽宁、四川、湖北、湖南、上海、福建7个省份。
