　　记者从黔东南州公安部门了解到，1月14至15日，全州共检查出租房屋93户、旅馆153家、娱乐场所128家、网吧29家、茶馆42家、电玩城15家，共查处赌博案件8起(其中“滚地龙”赌博案件1起)，抓获涉赌人员50余人，收缴赌博游戏机79台，震慑了赌博违法犯罪分子。

　　据了解，黔东南州各县市党委政府主要领导已经和州委、州政府签订了禁赌工作责任状，各县市政法委也和州政法委签订了责任状，责任状明确规定，凡是禁赌工作不力、造成严重后果和恶劣影响的，一律实行责任倒查，严肃问责，绝不姑息。

　　公安机关将根据“什么治安问题突出，就集中开展整治”的原则，重拳出击，严厉打击赌博违法犯罪活动，各级党委、政府针对赌博现象呈现出的规律特点，充分调动基层村寨、社区、街道组织力量，积极发挥群防群治的作用，多管齐下，加强源头预防。同时，社区、村居等基层正在筹建成立禁赌协会。
