It is reported that the buildings built more than 2,500 plants of the Middle route, from Danjiangkou to Beijing more than 1400 kilometres of Canal completed. According to the plan, phase ⅰ project of middle years average increase of 9.5 billion cubic meters of water, mainly to Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, Henan and four provinces and 19 cities and more than 100 counties of municipal water supplies.

本报北京1月15日电 (记者赵永平)国务院南水北调办主任鄂竟平介绍，截至目前，南水北调累计完成投资2434亿元，东线工程实现正式通水，累计向山东供水3400万立方米，中线主体工程基本完工，今年汛后南水北调中线全线通水。这是记者从15日召开的南水北调工程建设工作会议获悉的。
据悉，南水北调中线建成各类建筑物2500多座，从丹江口水库到北京的1400多公里渠道全线贯通。按照规划，中线一期工程多年平均调水量95亿立方米，主要向京津冀豫四省市的19个大中城市及100多个县市供水。
