　　中新网湛江1月16日电 (记者 梁盛) 广东省湛江市纪委16日通过其官方认证微博发布消息称，湛江市教育局原局长陈炎生因违纪违法，目前已受到开除党籍、开除行政公职“双开”处分。

　　据湛江市纪委证实，目前，陈炎生贪腐案已移交有关司法部门作进一步审理。

　　据湛江市纪委通报消息称，陈炎生在担任湛江市教育局局长期间，利用职务之便，为他人谋取利益，在服装供应、牛奶供应及干部提拔中收受贿赂款43.5万元人民币。案件调查期间，陈还主动交待了收受其他关系人好处费和红包礼金198.2万元等问题。2013年5月，陈炎生被移送司法机关，同年11月，陈炎生受到开除党籍、行政开除处分。

　　据了解，陈炎生从2003年2月开始担任湛江市教育局局长职务，一直至2012年2月换届再次续任。同年6月份，陈炎生被组织部门调整为该局调研员，不分管具体工作。(完)
