说山寨厂商能够洞悉市场并不是玩笑之言,这些厂商往往能够精准把握消费者的心理、捕捉消费者的需要。比如苹果的一个主要模仿厂商谷峰事实上早于苹果几个月就发布了“i5S”智能手机,该公司生产的“iWatch”智能手表也已经上市。而市场上类似的山寨产品同样比比皆是。除了苹果,三星的一些产品也是山寨厂商的钟情对象。几个月前,谷峰就发布了一款仿照三星Note III的山寨手机。

据一位研究全球山寨现象的专家称,山寨就是通过仿制流行的产品从而获益。山寨厂商生产出和真品外观相仿、功能相近的产品,出售给那些不愿买或买不起真品却又想跟风的消费者。因此如果产品不流行,那么厂商就没有仿制的必要。不过这也不一定意味着Galaxy Gear就毫无前景可言。也许是因为整个可穿戴产品市场还有待开发,目前仅有少数发烧友愿意购买,不过假以时日,一定会有越来越多的消费者认可这一产品。但是这位专家指出,三星绝不能掉以轻心,毕竟“深圳引领着电子产品消费的风尚”。

去年11月,三星曾就Galaxy Gear的不利评论做出回应,称已卖出8万台Galaxy Gear。不过随后这个令人惊讶的数据被证明是指出货量达到8万台,而究竟已经售出多少台则不得而知。不管怎么样,也许Galaxy Gear在美国市场尚能扭转颓势,但在瞬息万变、紧随市场脚步的中国山寨市场已经无力回天。而这也许才是三星应当对其智能手表业务感到担心的真正原因。
