中国金融期货交易所党委书记、董事长张慎峰表示，从自贸区总体方案和“央行30条”批复之后，中金所加大了在自贸区建设国际金融期货交易平台的方案设想。但是由于未来可能国内还会有其他的自贸区出现，如果必须到自贸区设立一个平台，就会面临市场的分割、碎片化。希望可以在中金所开设一个外汇专柜，满足自贸区相关企业的风险对冲需求。
最后发言时，韩正回应了自贸区相关话题。他表示，实际上，自贸区的改革远远超过经济领域的范围。
政府管理制度的改革更重要的是监管模式改变，不再审批了，而是在事中、事后过程进行监管。安全审查机制、反垄断审查机制、企业年度报告公示制度、信用管理体系、综合执法体系和部门监管信息共享机制，这六项正是上海目前正在构建的事中事后监管的基本制度。
