但就是这种看似正常的雅好交流，成为倪发科受贿的隐秘通道。他多次以把玩、鉴赏、收藏为由，收受企业老板“雅赠”的名贵玉石、名家字画，其中玉石占其受贿总额近八成，其中一次收受的和田玉就价值350万元；原铁道部部长刘志军收受字画、玉石等物品近200件，价值1300余万元。
近年查处的各类贪官，大多有这样那样的“小爱好”，从玉石到瓷器，从字画到古董，各类珍奇古玩越来越多地出现在他们的受贿清单里。记者调查发现，一些贪腐官员爱好的往往并非是艺术品本身，而是看中其收受途径隐蔽、“变现”手法多样、“出事”易于推责等“优点”，高雅旗号下遮挡的是低劣的权钱勾兑。
