交通

消防
2013年以来，全市共发生各类火灾事故4250余起，共造成53人死亡，18人受伤，直接财产损失5230万余元。其中，全市共发生较大火灾事故3起，重大火灾事故1起。全市发生火灾比较突出的区县有朝阳区、丰台区、海淀区。火灾发生原因多为电气故障、遗留火种、生活用火不慎。
队伍建设

北京市公安局的年度工作报告今天出炉了，用各项数据全方位地展示了北京的治安状况。
数据中，几项恶性案件的侦破是全国第一，包括：命案破案率达到99.16%，连续三年保持全国第一；绑架案件侦破率连续六年保持100%，涉枪涉爆案件侦破率始终保持100%。
能够全方位反映北京治安状况和北京警方工作两项指标也同样喜人，一是1至12月，全市共破获刑事案件11.26万起，同比上升10.6%；二是抓获犯罪嫌疑人同比增长13.1%。
用数据说明问题被称为数字说话。真实的数字说话，不能选择性地使用数字。有些所谓的数字说话，只把光鲜亮丽的数字拿出来，把羞于见人的数字雪藏起来，这样的数字说话即使不能算是说假话，起码也是不实在、不厚道。
北京警方的年度报告属于典型的数字说话。在降声一片的数据中，“高发的诈骗手段中，电话欠费类电信诈骗案件发案同比上升22.51%；中奖类诈骗案件发案同比上升2.6%”，显得有点“刺眼”。电信诈骗立案1.8万余，破案4395起，给人感觉破案率不太高。但恰恰有了这样“刺眼”的数据，这份治安报告才和市民有“眼缘”。
数字说话贵在全面，北京警方的治安报告就符合这一点。
