  今天,这条新闻得到官方媒体的深度挖掘,题为《阜阳市委书记乘公交“私访”被网友认出 回应:经常坐》的稿子,引发了更广泛的讨论。


  在部分网友为官员坐公交的行为点赞的时候,也不乏“形式主义”、“作秀”的议论,更有网友一针见血地评论:周六本来就不是工作日,官员坐坐公交,算什么新闻?


  “官员坐公交”,到底该不该是新闻?


  用“官员”“公交”等关键词稍加检索,就会发现官员采用公共交通方式出行的新闻,还真是不少。


  前些年,为缓解交通拥堵,云南昆明市委书记杨崇勇曾经作出表率,带头坐公交车上班;当时担任北京市环保局副局长的杜少中曾公开承诺:每月少开一天车,尽可能多乘坐公交车;福建厦门交通委还曾出台过规定,该市交通委领导每月乘公交不少于5趟次,其他干部每月不少于10趟次……正如北京市副书记吉林所说:“他们(百姓)不相信我也坐公交,其实市委市政府很多官员都乘公交或坐地铁。”


  再看看国外,官员坐公共交通出行的案例就更多了,英国首相卡梅伦上班的时候喜欢骑自行车,纽约前市长、美国传媒大亨迈克尔·布隆伯格天天上班时挤地铁,韩国首尔市政府一度把“官车”数量砍到4辆,曾被提名为韩国新国务总理的金台镐因为公车私用导致其引咎自退……

  如果我们的官员能做到这些,那么,官员坐公交就不会是新闻。而现在一个本不应算是新闻的新闻成了新闻,有两个原因:


  第一,乘坐公共交通工具的官员还是太少太少,简直可以用“弥足珍贵”来形容。


  尽管让官员们坐公交有那么多实实在在的榜样、有那么多明明确确的好处,但是肯去乘坐公交的官员还是凤毛麟角,少到这种事件具有了新闻价值!每有一位官员去坐公交,都会引发媒体报道的热情和兴趣。


  正如评论员朱四倍所评:我国官员习惯用权力调控资源,并且权力的行使充满了封闭性和神秘感,导致了官员特权的存在,乃至成了官员身份的象征。而在国外,官员的任何运用权力的行为都要接受监督。正是这种差别的存在导致了官员的不同行为选择,进而才出现了我国官员坐公交成新闻的现象。而要让官员坐公交不成新闻,首先就要控制权力,让权力透明化和公开化,让官员的行为亮在公众面前。


  简言之,在特权光环笼罩下,我们的领导无论亲自干点什么,都足矣成新闻。


  如何才能将权力关进笼子,如何才能打破领导特权,不得不说媒体舆论监督责任的重大。


  而媒体监督责任的缺失,却成了官员坐公交屡成新闻的另一个重要原因。


  评论员卢云东曾尖锐指出:与西方媒体对所谓的“负面”报道的特殊偏好,对各类问题穷追猛打的媒体观不同,很多媒体说穿了已完全沦为宣传政策的工具,甚至专为领导歌功颂德,变成为某些官员打造人气,培植官气,蒙蔽民众,违法乱纪的工具。


  回望媒体追捧塑造的明星官员们,落马者何其多也!而这样的案例多了,媒体的公信力便一点点丧失了。


  不妨想象下,当媒体担当起自己的监督责任时,报出的新闻就不会再是官员今日坐公交,而应该是官员多久没坐公交,或官员应该坐公交时却坐公车这类新闻。


  我们恳切地希望,让官员坐公交,早日不再成新闻!
