制动性能低安全无保障

此外，报废车、拼装车发动机一般严重老化，耗油量明显增多，尾气中的污染物严重超标。
车主办理报废手续还能领补贴款
报废车废而不报一直是市民比较关注的问题，销毁现场，交警部门也对相关部门近期采取的措施进行了解释说明。
去年以来，太原市交警支队采取了“先注销、后报废”的办法，把到达报废年限的车辆全部注销，将车辆信息录入“黑名单”。车主如果不办理报废手续，仍开车上路，将会被查扣。此外，为了加快处理报废车，交警部门采取了一系列服务措施，比如只要车主打一个电话，交警部门将全程办理包括下户、拖车、领取回收款并支付车主等一系列车辆报废手续。车主只需要到指定的报废车辆拆解企业进行报废，并领取相应的补贴款即可。
去年12月，山西公安交警网还率先开通报废车网络举报平台，推出“报废车，我举报”有奖活动。市民在路边发现报废车，都可以及时通过网络进行举报。
问答
问：听说私家车报废没有时间限制，什么情况会被强制报废呢？
答：去年5月1日起，新的《机动车强制报废标准规定》开始实施，规定私家车报废不再看“年龄”而是看里程，增加了“行驶里程60万公里引导报废”的内容。不过，不管是什么车辆，在检验有效期届满后，连续3个检验周期内没有取得机动车检验合格标志的，将被强制注销。
这里所说的“连续3个机动车检验周期”并非一定是连续3年，比如小型、微型非客运载客汽车，6年以内每两年检验1次；超过6年的，每年检验1次；超过15年的，每6个月检验1次。所以不同车型、不同时期的检验周期也是不同的。
问：收藏的老爷车，是不是也会被强制报废销毁？
答：收藏一些有历史或者有收藏价值的老车的话，只要按规定去登记、检验，或者在家停放收藏，是不会销毁处理的。
问：如果车况不好，想提前报废的话如何处理？
答：如果有人想提前进行报废，可以到车辆管理部门办理注销登记申请，进行提前报废。
