新华网杭州1月22日电(谢云挺、蔡琳)记者从杭州市西湖风景名胜区管委会了解到，目前西湖景区内已有30家高档会所正式关停。有关部门现在正向社会征集这些会所关停后转型的建议，许多本地外地群众、网民纷纷为被关停的景区会所如何“还湖于民”“还景于民”支招。
杭州市委市政府提出，对会所关停后腾出公共场所的管理使用问题，最根本的要求，就是要坚持公益性、大众化、可进入性原则，用于各种公共服务，满足市民游客参观、游览、休闲、娱乐等需要，切实做到“还湖于民、还园于民、还景于民”。
——关停的会所中很多本来就是历史建筑
记者了解到，杭州市民对西湖会所转型有不少建议。在当地生活了40多年的市民周健说，西湖景区自古以来就有深厚的文化氛围，是杭州历史的见证和代表，关停的会所中有很多本来就是一些历史建筑，应该恢复原有的人文景观，供外地游客参观展览，更好地展示杭州的魅力。
也有杭州市民认为，西湖不仅是风景名胜，也是本地群众休闲消费的地方，以前的会所“可望而不可进”，今后可以考虑开设更多价格亲民的特色饭店、茶馆等，让本地市民也有更多的好去处，让一些老杭州找回对西湖的亲切感。

一对来自四川的情侣游客表示，“在我们眼里，西湖是非常浪漫的地方，应该多开些咖啡馆，小酒吧和主体餐厅之类的场所。价格方面只要不会太高于同行业，大多数人还是乐意消费的。”

有网友则建议，应该让杭州的特色小吃入驻西湖，可以在合适的地点规划出美食城、小吃街之类的场所，引入一些人气高的杭州特色小吃，不仅可以为外地游客服务，对本地人也会有很大的吸引力。同时也可以引入一些杭州传统的手工艺作坊，例如刺绣、绘画等，现场制作，不仅可以销售产品，也能作为民俗表演。
杭州历史学会常务理事丁云川表示，“关”并不是目的，现在要做的，是通过统筹规划，让这些地方“活”起来姓“民”，真正成为广大市民和中外游客共享的福地。
