通过手机构建硬件生态圈

同样的危险还有开发者。不论三星卖出多少台安卓手机,最贴近用户的那些应用开发者,都还是凝聚在谷歌的平台上。这也让三星推出Tizen手机变得更加迫切——三星需要提升自己对整个产业链条的影响力。

为了吸引开发者,去年三星和英特尔曾拿出400万美元,举办了一场Tizen应用挑战赛。在Tizen开发者大会上,三星也公布了诸多更开放的接口,以及对Html5等技术的支持。

谷歌会和三星翻脸吗?

说实话,尽管三星即将推出Tizen手机,但未来一段时间里,三星和谷歌之间的合作关系依然会很牢固。

首先谷歌难以离开三星的支持。目前整个安卓阵营是三星一家独大,其他厂商在市场份额上和三星有较大差距。谷歌需要借助三星在硬件和市场渠道上的能力,来帮助安卓开拓疆土。

可以说,三星选择这个时候推出Tizen手机,谷歌确实难以做出过激反应。

同样,三星暂时也离不开谷歌和安卓。Tizen目前还非常弱小,不可能承载三星手机巨大的市场销量。即便Tizen上市,可能也只是一两款机型,在相当一段时间里,三星大范围出货的依然只能是安卓手机——因为用户和市场决定了一切。

Tizen有未来吗?

客观的说,Tizen想在手机系统上占据客观的市场份额并不容易。即便以三星的市场影响力,也很难帮助Tizen快速上位——因为智能手机发展到今天,已经不再是硬件参数和市场广告的竞争,平台成熟度、应用数量等更为重要,而这恰恰是三星和Tizen的短板。

但三星还有另一条路可走。通过整合自身在数码产品、家电、车载系统的能力,将Tizen手机的外延做好,与更多电子设备互联互通。这恰恰是三星的长处所在。

目前在智能电视、智能家居领域,还没有一套成熟的平台标准,而安卓目前的版本也被诟病不适合电视使用。三星如果能将Tizen更好的与自家的其他电器产品融合,以手机作为控制枢纽,则有机会将安卓拒之与智能家电的门外,甚至有可能反攻,扩大在手机领域的份额。

三星对Tizen的野心远不止于手机,但它必须把Tizen手机退出来,并且做好——因为手机是三星撬动整个目标的最佳支点。
