三明市副市长、沙县县委书记陈瑞喜等人接受企业主宴请发生人员醉亡问题。2013年9月9日，三明市副市长、沙县县委书记陈瑞喜会同沙县代县长林昭闹等，与一私营企业主商谈投资项目后接受其邀请，到该企业内部食堂聚餐。事后，一名参与聚餐的领导干部酒后突发性猝死，造成了不良社会影响。近日，经福建省纪委常委会研究并报省委同意，决定给予陈瑞喜党内严重警告处分，按程序免去其三明市副市长职务；给予林昭闹和沙县县委常委、常务副县长吕永青党内警告处分；对参与宴请的其他相关责任人进行诫勉谈话。
中国建设银行沙县支行行长雷炎生等人公款宴请客户并参与高消费娱乐引发人员死亡问题。2013年8月13日，雷炎生和副行长陈志煜等人在三明市区宴请客户并陪同高消费娱乐，合计消费8160元。事后，该行一名参与活动的工作人员酒后突发性猝死，造成了不良社会影响。中国建设银行三明市分行给予雷炎生党内严重警告处分，解聘其行长职务；给予陈志煜（非中共党员）行政记过处分。
