经安庆市委常委会研究，依据相关规定，责成市政府分管副市长向市委作深刻检查；同意市林业局局长田辉引咎辞职；对市林业局副局长、市森林防火办公室主任胡龙，市森林公安局局长王小旦免职；市有关部门和部分县区的十多名官员也受到免职、追责等处理。
安庆市相关负责人表示，作风不深入、责任不落实、工作不到位，是造成本轮火灾的主要原因，要进一步严明纪律，严格问责。当前全市山林火情得到有效控制，但防火形势仍然严峻，各级各部门全力以赴扑灭明火，确保不发生新的火点。
