上午8时38分，联想集团中国区总裁陈旭东出现在北京上地联想集团总部，与上百家媒体记者见面。

联想董事长兼行政总裁杨元庆在美国通过视频与媒体见面。他表示，2015年，彻底完成摩托罗拉移动收购后，联想将会在全球销售1亿部智能手机。

杨元庆在接受提问时表示，“联想在拉美将充分利用摩托的价值和品牌，具体品牌叫什么还不定，但是会充分利用。另外，摩托罗拉会重新回到中国市场。”

联想手机业务什么时候规模性进军美国市场的问题，让Lenovo业务集团总裁刘军作答。刘军表示，本次交易完成（六个月）后，联想手机就进入美国市场，联想将保留摩托罗拉品牌，至于如何定位，很快就有答案。
