据市局相关负责人介绍，《北京市公安局禁酒令》规定，民警除在家饮酒或经过报告审批饮酒外，一律不得饮酒。此项禁令能够确保广大民警在执法执勤过程中始终保持良好状态，坚决履行使命，此举得到了全局民警和家属的拥护支持。北京市公安局的“禁酒令”是公安部“五条禁令”的延伸，同时，“禁酒令”也是为了民警身体健康的一条针对性很强的爱警措施。
警嫂写信感谢傅政华

民警坦言在家也不敢喝
北青报记者本周采访了5位警嫂，都对市局的禁酒令表示支持，某郊区分局一位派出所所长的妻子说，老公经常饮酒，“但让我揪心的是这样下去，他的身体怎么能够吃得消”。对于禁酒令，这位警嫂表示是“搬开了压在公安家属心里的一块大石头”。
北京市公安局一位民警介绍，现在禁酒令在局里执行得挺严格，自己已经把酒戒了，在家也不喝，因为怕第二天有味，“而且我本来就胖，高血脂高血压，不喝酒挺好的。”
