外交部发言人华春莹在1月29日的例行记者会上表示，安倍不要再企图玩“呼吁首脑会谈”的鬼花招来蒙混过关，要以实际行动改善与邻国的关系。
日本首相安倍晋三29日上午出席参院全体会议时再次表示有意修改宪法。安倍还就日本与中韩的关系表示，正因为存在问题，才应不附带前提条件地坦率交谈，呼吁尽早举行首脑会谈。
对此华春莹表示，日本走什么样的发展道路，不仅关系到日本未来的走向，也是事关亚洲和平、稳定与发展的重大问题。中方敦促日方深刻反省侵略历史，走和平发展道路。
关于中日领导人对话问题，中方已多次明确表明了立场。日方不能一方面拒不承认错误，还到处说中国的坏话，到处煽风点火，企图抹黑中国，另一方面又避重就轻，避实就虚，空喊对话口号。中方再次奉劝日本领导人，不要再企图玩什么鬼花招，蒙混过关，而是要老老实实承认错误，以实际行动为改善与邻国的关系创造条件。
