李克强：纯电动要替代公交车，减少污染，也是我们向污染宣战。
这是李克强总理27日考察汽车企业时，在生产车间的一辆电动公交车上说的一段话。
工信部部长苗圩此前曾坦言，当初发展电动汽车，只注重车，没注重配套设置。
苗圩：坦率的说，当初推广电动汽车的时候，大家都重视了车，没重视配套设施。现在恰恰是配套设施限制了电动汽车的发展。我们现在的电动车，不客气的说是在传统车的基础上的一个改装，我们应该开发出这样一个平台：取消机械传统、液压传动、各种传动，就是一个电驱动，电驱动是能量转换效率最高的。
新能源汽车目前应用的空间有多大？第一电动网CEO庞义成认为，从目前新能源汽车的发展来看，城市公共交通代步和中小城市农村的应用空间更大。
庞义成：按照目前的产品形态跟传统汽油汽车比的话，性能上确实有差距。速度没有那么高，续程没有那么长，充电没有加油那么方便。但如果说从应用的角度上讲，目前已经有应用的可能性，而且是相对大范围的应用。比如在公共交通领域，更适用于城市上下班的代步，适用于城市家庭第二两用车。还有一个更大的应用空间，就是在三级市场以下，就是在中小城市，城乡结合部和广大乡村，这个空间是巨大的。
根据国家节能与新能源汽车产业发展规划，到2015年，纯电动汽车和插电式混合动力汽车累计产销量力争达到50万辆；到2020年，生产能力达200万辆、累计产销量超过500万辆，可以说，新能源汽车行业已进入快速发展通道。对于现在新能源车销量的增速，中汽协秘书长董扬认为：

财经评论员叶檀表示，需要依靠市场的手，让更多资金投入到新能源汽车行业当中。
叶檀：对于新能源车实行补贴，鼓励更多的资金投入到新能源汽车领域中去，而现在的新能源汽车领域，我们的技术瓶颈还是比较多，所以新能源车推广的不快，补贴和后续服务都跟不上。
