　　国家海洋局极地考察办公室相关负责人认为，南极旅游反映了一个国家的经济发展水平。往年，南极游客主要来自美国、澳大利亚、日本等发达国家。随着中国经济发展，到南极旅游的人数还将不断增多。但南极旅游比较特殊，不仅有一定敏感性，还给南极环境保护带来压力，而且旅游风险也很大，国家有关部门之间加强合作、有序引导、规范管理已显得刻不容缓。 新华
